Mise en Scene consideration

Our character is a successful businessman who has a history of being an international drug lord. We will depict this through the use of Mise en Scene in our piece.
Firstly, we will show or character wearing a nice suit. This will promote his high wealth and class, which is what a stereotypical businessman has.
Secondly, he will be holding a thick cigar in his mouth. This will connote - again - his high class.
In order to represent his previous drug leader status, we will make evident his scars and tattoos. This will contrast the stereotypical businessman presence, with a depiction of lower class in the way that he was involved with drugs.
We will try and make it apparent that the character is arriving at his place of work later than the rest of his employees by possibly showing the time of day using a clock. This will connote the idea that he is the one who sets the rules, and that he is above the rest of his employees.
