'The Ugly Business'

We chose the name 'The Ugly Business' for several reasons.
Firstly, it suggests that the business Xavier Sterling is involved in is not legitimate, or unethical. We want to put this idea across because it has a hint of truth in it. Considering the funding's for his company originate from drug trading, his company is rather immoral.
Secondly, it connotes the perception of drugs in the film. The use, distribution and production is seen as 'scummy'. This can be represented by the use of ugly, or low class. We want to put this idea strongly across to the audience because it contrasts the high class values of a successful corporate institution, compared to the leader whom was involved in drug trading.
Thirdly, The Ugly Business could represent not only Xavier Sterling's company, but corporate companies altogether. By this, we mean that it could suggest that every large business is immoral, unethical or untrustworthy in one way or another.
