Casting/Audition Intentions

When casting it is important that we consider the role we need the potential candidate to play. The role we are looking for the actor to play is the one of Xavier Sterling. He is a successful business man who owns his own business. This means we must cast someone who is willing to play this role, and would be able to do so in the correct manner to make it seem realistic, feasible and interesting. In order to ensure this, as a group, we will cast lots of people before narrowing it down too just the one who will play the role in our film opening.

By casting lots of different people, we can look at the negative and positive attributes that each candidate has. This means after casting is complete, we can sit down as a group and decide which candidate we feel would be most suited to playing the role in our film opening. Once this is complete, we will aware the successful candidate, before giving them a list of dates and timings of when we will need them to film.

Its important that we take auditions seriously because in order to have a good film opening, we must have good actors playing the roles we require filling.

To ensure a successful film opening, casting and auditions are very important. Without them, it would be a random process, meaning there would have been no way to identify who would be most suited to the role and who would play it best.
